How to Create a Dropbox Account & Access your Agency's Folder

This article goes over how to create a Dropbox account after you receive an email invitation from 211 OC. Dropbox is used by GetHelpOC to provide direct referral outcome monitoring reports. 

 

Creating a Dropbox Account

Step 1: You will receive an email invitation to Dropbox from 211OC that may contain the name of a file being shared with you. Locate this email and click View on Dropbox.

 

 

Step 2: You will be prompted to create a Dropbox account.

 

 

 

  1. Create an account on dropbox.com.
  2. Type in your email (your email address will be the username for your Dropbox account).
  3. Type your first name, last name, and a unique password.
  4. Click the box to agree to the Dropbox terms.
  5. Click Continue with 2 GB Dropbox Basic Plan.
  6. Choose your user preferences. 

 

 

 

NOTE: You will need this login information to access your agency Dropbox folder that will include the direct referral outcome monitoring reports

 

 

 

Step 3: You should now be able to view your agency's Dropbox folder.

 

 


How to Access your Agency's Dropbox Folder

 

Your agency's Dropbox folder is used to share important files and documents that contain sensitive information. 

 

Process to Access Dropbox Folder

 

Step 1: Go to the Dropbox website. 

 

 

Note: If you do not remember your password, select Forgot your password and enter your email address to reset your password. 

 

Step 2: On the left pane, go to All Files and click on your agency's folder. 

 

 

Step 3: Locate the file that the GetHelpOC Help Desk has shared with you, click on the 3 dots to the right of the file name, and click Download. 

 

 

 

Step 4: The file that was shared with you should be saved in the Download Folder on your computer.
